AIS Insights is an initiative by the Association for Information Systems to project insights from academic research to practice. AIS Insights builds on academic research articles by applying AI to extract relevant information from these articles geared towards a practice audience.
AIS Insights creates different types of outputs:
AIS Insights supports multilinguism: Current languages supported include: Arabic, English, French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin, Spanish.
AIS Insights uses resources provided by the European Research Center for Information Systems (ERCIS) at the University of Münster.
We utilize the University of Münster's on-premise private cloud and local high-performance computing cluster. In this environment, we use a software stack based on open-source large language and audio generation models.
The AI engine is developed by a team of researchers passionate about AI solutions for knowledge management, Living Knowledge.
AIS Insights provides AI-generated commentary on academic research articles.
AIS Insights is based on articles licensed by AIS and may be supplemented with other publicly available sources. Authors may also propose their own articles for inclusion, provided they hold the necessary rights.
All articles are referenced in their original form. The AI-generated commentary will differ from the original content, emphasize specific aspects, or provide additional perspectives. AIS Insights assumes no responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, or interpretation of the commentary.
